Chris S. Lyons

Born in the United States, Chris grew up in the Midwest where he attended Indiana University and later moved to Florida to begin his professional journey. He is an avid golfer and frequent traveler who has lived and worked all over the U.S. as well as the Virgin Islands, France, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.

Chris began his career at Anheuser-Busch Theme Parks with SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove with an emphasis on operations and management. Following 15 years of service with SeaWorld parks, Chris joined Hilton Hotels as part of the executive team for the opening of Waldorf Astoria, Orlando. He later worked for 6 years as an international consultant focused primarily on Europe and the Caribbean. Chris rejoined the Zoological community with a posting as Chief Operating Officer of the Houston Zoo where he led Operations for 5.5 years.  He is passionate about common sense leadership and creating win-win propositions for clients, partners, investors and employees alike.
