Worldwide Zoo Consultants is continuing to expand their team and looking to recruit a talented finance Analyst at our Head Office. You will be responsible for the Providing the financial analysis, financial planning, analysis, and projections for company operations across all projects. Monitor, analyze and provide recommendations for ongoing financial performance. Forecast future revenues and expenditures to assist in determining company strategy. Ensure accurate accounts receivable is to ensure company receives payments for goods and services in a timely fashion, and record transactions accordingly.
Maintain the billing system and ensure client relationships are in please to communicate and address any late payments or irregularities should any arise
Monitor and track the capturing of all expenses, ensuring this is updated weekly
Generate invoices and account statements through QuickBooks
Manage and provide account reconciliations
Maintain accounts receivable files and records
Produce monthly financial and management reports
Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
Assisting in general financial management and analysis
Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
Review and process expenses and reimbursables submitted by employees
Ensure incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
Create company financial reports, presenting this monthly and annually for management review
Analyze data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
Analyze data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
Examine the proficiency of the software programs used to organise data
Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
Analyze financial data and provide forecasting reports
1-3+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
High proficiency in financial modeling
Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
BA, BS, or B. Com degree required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)
Background in accounts receivable, accounting
Possess good verbal and written communication skills within the English language and must be able to conduct themselves in a professional, positive manner with co-workers and guests.
Must have a strong attention to detail and be highly professional, proactive, self-motivated, independent, a problem solver, and be able to work with intermittent guidance.
Computer literate (MS Office) proficiency with computers and current software applications.
