Worldwide Zoo Consultants is seeking a passionate and responsible Assistant Animal Kepper to join our team. As an Assistant Animal keeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and welfare of our animal residents.

  • Animal Care Assistance:
    • Assist in the daily care and husbandry of a variety of animal species within our facility.
    • Ensure that all animals receive proper nutrition, enrichment, and medical attention as required.
  • Facility Maintenance:
    • Assist in maintaining clean and safe animal enclosures, exhibits, and related facilities.
    • Work closely with the maintenance and construction teams for enclosure improvements and expansions.
  • Health and Well-being:
    • Monitor and report on animal health, behavior, and environmental conditions.
    • Assist in the implementation of enrichment activities to promote mental and physical stimulation for the animals.
  • Team Support:
    • Work closely with the animal care team to provide support and assistance in various tasks.
    • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Visitor Engagement:
    • Engage with visitors, providing information about the animals and their conservation needs.
    • Answer questions and contribute to the educational experience of our guests.
  • Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a zoo, sanctuary, or similar environment.
  • A genuine passion for animal care and wildlife conservation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
  • A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
